In Greece, the responsibility for harm caused by an AI system is determined based on the principles of general tort law and the specific circumstances of each case. The allocation of liability typically involves consideration of the roles and actions of the developer, the user, and the victim.

It aims to accelerate the adoption and development of AI in both the private and public sectors in Greece, and increase the relevant skills and the research and development (R&D) base through the provision of the necessary AI infrastructure and enablers that will facilitate the Democratisation of AI.

The OECD AI Policy Observatory (OECD.AI) combines resources from across the OECD and its partners from all stakeholder groups. It facilitates dialogue and provides multidisciplinary, evidence-based policy analysis and data on AI's areas of impact.
