In the search bar, enter a destination or tap it on the map. Follow the on-screen instructions to help Maps find your location. Tip: Point your phone camera at buildings and signs across the street, instead of trees and people. Once Maps knows where you are, you'll get directions through the camera view on your screen.

On your computer, open Google Maps. Right-click the place or area on the map. This will open a pop-up window. You can find your latitude and longitude in decimal format at the top.

Settings and privacy. Under “Location settings,” check that it says “Location is on.” If it doesn't, tap Location is off and turn on Location. Under “Location settings,” check that it says “Location History is on.” If it doesn't, tap Location History is off and turn on Location History.

Push and hold the center “Google” icon at the bottom of your phone and say, “What is my current location?” i. A map will appear with your address (if applicable) ii. Click on the map image that appears and hold the red location icon iii. Your coordinates will be in the bar at the top of your screen.
