Fiat doesn't offer a small pickup in the United States. Ram doesn't either, but in other parts of the world – namely Brazil – you'll find this small rig called the Fiat Strada. It's all-new for 2021, and it already has a litany of factory upgrades available through FCA's Mopar group.

Its compact size also allows it to manoeuvre nicely through heavy traffic and to be parked easily. Although the Strada is a good vehicle, Fiat doesn't hold a strong impression with South African buyers but it is worth considering against its rivals.

Safety. The Strada has 4 airbags, electronic stability control (ESC) Ventilated Front disc brakes and drum brakes in the rear.

It was launched across Europe in June 1978 as the Ritmo – a word derived from the Italian for “rhythm,” while Strada derives from “road.” The first cars wouldn't arrive on UK shores until May 1979, making the car on these pages one of the very first sold here.
