To track a phone number using Google Maps, first ensure that the phone's GPS is turned on. Then, add the phone number to your Google contacts and use Google Maps' 'Share Location' feature to request access to their location. Once they've accepted your request, you can monitor their location on your device.

On your computer, open Google Maps. Type an address or name of a place. To filter your search results, use the drop-down menus below the search box.

When you let Google Maps take note of your activity, Maps will automatically remember when you park your car (even if you park far from your destination). After you're done navigating somewhere, at the bottom, turn on Know where you parked.
